I know why I started reading them. I got a little obsessed after I discovered that my husband had had three long affairs during the last 15 years of our marriage. I like to learn and I'm a natural researcher, so I spent the better part of the year learning about affairs. I read every book. I scoured every blog I could find. They all helped me process and understand my husband better. Then, I found myself needing the experience. You don't have to go that far - if you don't want to. Maybe you're just curious. Live.
